WirelessCar donates to Red Cross, Stadsmissionen, and United Way

Christmas time is all about looking out for each other, and extending a helping hand to those in need. While delivering digital solutions worldwide is what we do, what really matters is the lives we touch and the difference we are able to make. With people in mind, we want to take a moment to focus on people in need, both close to us and far away. This year we are happy to double our Christmas donations and support both the Red Cross, Stadsmissionen, and United Way.

Niklas Florén, CEO: With employees from more than 34 countries worldwide and global deliveries, the world is our home ground. And the world is in need. More and more families are in economic distress around us and the wars in Ukraine and Gaza/Israel leaves no one untouched. Therefore I'm very happy that WirelessCar is able to contribute to some relief, thanks to all the work and commitment that all the WirelessStars have put in during the year. Together we really do make a difference, in so many ways.

 

What do we contribute to?

By donating to Göteborgs Stadsmission we contribute to short and long-term help to individuals and families in social and economic vulnerability, something that is especially important during the cold winter time and around the holidays. Aided by our and other contributions, they provide concrete support and activities to people in need, that contributes to a more humane society and a merrier Christmas. Some of them are:

• Bags of groceries and gift certificates to grocery stores
• Winter clothes and shoes
• Christmas gifts to kids
• Christmas buffet and a place to meet
• Long-term support to be able to escape poverty

United Way, an organization that brings people together to build strong, equitable communities where everyone can thrive. As one of the world's largest privately funded charities, they serve 95% of U.S. communities and 37 countries and territories -- making life better for 48 million people every year.

By supporting it, we contribute to helping communities tackle tough challenges, boost education, find economic solutions, and distribute health resources. United Way help people make meaningful change, through charitable donations, volunteerism or public policy advocacy. It responds with aid for natural disasters, combats human trafficking, provides early learning opportunities and job placement to underserved youth and much more.
