A glance in the rearview mirror – 7 highlights from 2025

December 22nd, 2025

As 2025 draws to a close, it’s a good moment to reflect on a year marked by progress, collaboration, and new opportunities at WirelessCar. We connected millions of additional vehicles worldwide, expanded in key markets, and advanced both our EV and SDV capabilities. Each step helped us deliver more value to the global automakers we partner with. These highlights show how far we’ve come — and the momentum we bring into the future of mobility.

Scaling global vehicle connectivity — 17 million cars now powered by WirelessCar
WirelessCar now connects more than 17 million vehicles worldwide — three million added this year alone. This continued growth reflects the trust of our OEM customers and strengthens our ability to deliver reliable, scalable connected services. With 18 million within reach, we’re accelerating the shift toward safer, more user-centric connected mobility.

Expanding global delivery capacity with a new site in India
Recently, we strengthened our global delivery capabilities with the launch of a new delivery site in Bengaluru, India. Led by Country Manager, Ajay Sundar, the site expands our ability to support OEMs worldwide and establishes a strong foundation for long-term growth in this dynamic region.

Simplifying EV charging — Seamless Charging pilot launches in North America
This year, WirelessCar launched Seamless Charging in the US and Canada with Blink Charging and ChargeHub, enabling EV drivers to simply plug in and walk away — no apps or accounts required. Powered by connected vehicle data, the pilot turns a complex process into a one-step experience and demonstrates how we make every day EV use smoother for drivers.

Advancing OEM collaboration in Japan with SDV and EV solutions
WirelessCar reaffirmed its commitment to Japan by taking center stage at Sweden’s AutoTech Day at the World Expo in Osaka and at AEE Yokohama, building on last year’s establishment of our Tokyo office. We presented solutions ranging from predictive maintenance and SDV-ready capabilities to connected EV and mobility services — reinforcing our aim to support Japanese OEMs as they expand globally.

Accelerating SDV development through WirelessCar’s first open-source project
This year, WirelessCar launched NAuth, our first open-source project, built for our internal developer platform and now shared with the wider SDV community. Open-source collaboration helps automakers avoid rebuilding foundational components from scratch and frees resources for truly differentiating innovation. With our Open SDV Platform, WirelessCar supports OEMs in innovating faster and moving confidently into the SDV era.
