Product Description
Position & Journey manages data for understanding how, when, and where one or many vehicles are driven. It is a data lake that exposes data from vehicle journeys in a ready-to-consume format. It solves journey related challenges and offers a means to enrich journeys with additional custom data.
The product provides API resources for three purposes:
- Car location to show the latest known position of the vehicle.
- Journey intelligence, where, when, and how a car has been driven
- Geofence that triggers an alert when the car is entering or leaving a geographical area.

Position & Journey solves several trip related challenges that are hard to meet:
- Vehicles on the roads generate huge amount of positions and trips. Our solution is designed to scale and support several million vehicles by efficient data management and utilizing cloud scaling capabilities.
- Vehicles are not like metering devices that are location fixes. Naturally vehicles move around in and out of tunnels, garages, and on and off ferries, which cause interruptions in the location data streams. This behavior is very difficult to simulate and our solution to cover these "corner cases" is based on the actual findings from millions of real trips.
- Merge/split trips, etc. Users want to be able to merge, split or delete trips as they find relevant.
- Anomaly detection. Anomalies in data can occur due to misbehaving TCU's which our algorithms detect and report.
- Fleet perspective. Position & Journey supports the fleet (B2B) perspective by providing information not only for single vehicles but for group and fleets of vehicles.

The core of our Subscription Management product is a rule engine that manages the relationships between services, car capabilities, fleets and users. The services are provided as plans, containing one or several digital services, which customers can subscribe to daily or monthly depending on how the plans are set up.
How to Use it?
Subscription Management offers an administration tool in which you can set up the digital services you want to provide and customize, and which vehicles you want to provide them to, depending on the vehicle model or what kind of hardware the vehicle is equipped with. It exposes the subscription services over an API for integration with various platforms to provide an omnichannel sales approach.
Manage - Admin users can easily set up selling parties, their service offers, define sales items, price, discounts, and customer specific price lists (B2B use-case).
Sell - Through a service API the solution exposes the rule engine that enables the carmaker to set up and deliver a branded web-shop that can handle the service sales to vehicles. Specific B2B use cases that are supported are the ability to buy services on a fleet, group of vehicles or an individual vehicle.
Activate – Subscription Management sends activation and deactivation commands to the selected provisioning process.
